Tariff Revenue Could Provide Tax Relief, Bessent Says

There is “a very good chance” for tariff revenue to provide income tax relief in the upcoming tax bill, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent tells reporters at a White House press briefing. He says the Trump administration is talking to at least 17 important trading partners over the next few weeks about reaching new deals.
