Former CEO of CNL Lifestyle Properties and PwC U.S. Real Estate Practice Leader Joins CEO Coaching International as Partner and Coach

Carlock is a nationally recognized real estate executive with nearly four decades of experience guiding growth and transformation across the full real estate life cycle. He brings unparalleled expertise in strategic planning, property transactions, capital formation, and business execution. Throughout his career, Carlock has served as a trusted advisor to corporate owners and users, developers, investors, REITs, and leading hospitality organizations.

Most recently, Carlock was the U.S. Real Estate Practice Leader at PwC, one of the world’s foremost professional services firms. Until his retirement in July 2023, he led the firm’s national strategy and client advisory services in real estate, shaping the direction of an industry in flux and helping top executives navigate emerging trends, complex investment decisions, and evolving market dynamics.

Prior to PwC, Carlock served as CEO and President of CNL Lifestyle Properties, where he steered the REIT’s strategic growth and operational execution. During his 11-year tenure at CNL, he also served as President of two additional REITs.

Earlier in his career, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Post Properties and as Managing Director at Trammell Crow and Crow Holdings, two of the most respected names in U.S. real estate.

He resides in Dallas, Texas to spend time with his three wonderful grandchildren and spends summers in Edgartown, Massachusetts.
