Axium Packaging uses advanced manufacturing technologies to serve customers

Axium Packaging is leveraging advanced manufacturing technologies to deliver customised solutions for customers’ requirements.

The technologies used by the company include various forms of blow moulding and injection moulding, extruded tubes, and decoration and finishing. It also operates its own design studios and tool shops.

Axium’s uniform production platform, advanced technology, and automated manufacturing lines support continuous operations to ensure cost-effective production for a worldwide customer base.

Axium Packaging launched its operations in March 2010 with six desks and three plastic packaging manufacturing machines in Mississauga, Ontario, near Toronto in Canada.

The company now boasts over 23 facilities across North America and is headquartered in New Albany, Ohio, US.

Axium Packaging president Paul Judge said: “Our rapid growth and continued success are a testament to the company’s commitment to innovation, customer service and sustainability, as well as our more than 3,500 employees who have made this all possible.

“I’m incredibly proud that Axium continues to set the packaging industry standard for quality and efficiency with the regular introduction of new technologies that reduce production costs and environmental impacts.”

Axium said its commitment to sustainability is further demonstrated by its Vertix recycling subsidiary, which enables the company to incorporate post-consumer recycled plastic into several of its packaging solutions.

Specifically, the company is crediting the sustainability aspects of its Vertix subsidiary as one of the factors in its ability to reach 15 years in business.

Axium Packaging serves a range of domestic and international product companies across various consumer categories, including personal and home cleaning supplies, food, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and nutrition products.

“Axium Packaging uses advanced manufacturing technologies to serve customers” was originally created and published by Packaging Gateway, a GlobalData owned brand.
