Microsoft, Apple And 3 Stocks To Watch Heading Into Thursday

With U.S. stock futures trading higher this morning on Thursday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wall Street expects McDonald’s Corporation MCD to report quarterly earnings at $2.66 per share on revenue of $6.09 billion before the opening bell, according to data from Benzinga Pro. McDonald’s shares fell 0.4% to $318.50 in after-hours trading.
  • Analysts are expecting Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN to post quarterly earnings at $1.36 per share on revenue of $155.04 billion. The company will release earnings after the markets close. Amazon shares rose 3.5% to $190.90 in after-hours trading.
  • Microsoft Corporation MSFT reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results. The company reported third-quarter revenue of $70.07 billion, up 13% year-over-year. The revenue total beat a Street consensus estimate of $68.43 billion according to data from Benzinga Pro. Microsoft said it sees fourth-quarter sales of $73.150 billion to $74.250 billion, versus market estimates of $72.28 billion. Microsoft shares jumped 6.9% to $422.66 in the after-hours trading session.

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. META posted upbeat results for its first quarter, after the closing bell on Wednesday. The company reported first-quarter earnings of $6.43 per share, easily beating analyst estimates of $5.21 per share. Meta expects second-quarter revenue to be in the range of $42.5 billion to $45.5 billion versus Benzinga Pro estimates of $44.06 billion. Meta shares climbed 5.4% to $578.45 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect Apple Inc. AAPL to post quarterly earnings at $1.63 per share on revenue of $94.53 billion after the closing bell. Apple shares fell 1.7% to $209.00 in the after-hours trading session.
